Mobile Device Management (MDM) Full Features

The Apple products we provide have built-in Apple School Manager, making the purchasing process simple and convenient; applications can be pre-installed for immediate use upon startup; and multiple MDM tablet management system platforms are available to choose from.

Apple School Manager provides the following features.

Automatic Device Enrollment

With Apple School Manager, you can automatically enroll devices in MDM and simplify initial device setup without needing to physically touch or pre-configure devices before users receive them. You can automatically enroll devices into your chosen MDM solution.

Purchase Apps and Books

Apple School Manager works with your Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution to allow your organization to purchase content in volume (such as apps and books), assign them to devices or users, and then install and update content wirelessly, even if the App Store is disabled. You maintain ownership and control of purchased apps at all times.

Integration with Student Information Systems (SIS)

Quickly create users with school rosters and classes, and integrate Apple School Manager with your existing environment. You can integrate directly with SIS or use Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) for integration.

Managed Apple IDs

Managed Apple IDs function similarly to Apple IDs but are designed specifically for organizations and are owned and managed by the organization to help improve teacher and student productivity and provide services users may need. These accounts are separate from personal Apple IDs that users create for themselves and can separate organizational data from personal data through comprehensive management controls.

This also includes role management and, in some cases, password resets. Users can access iCloud and use iWork, Notes, and Reminders for collaboration, while users with roles such as 'Administrator,' 'Manager,' 'Staff,' and 'Teacher' can log into the Apple School Manager web portal. Managed Apple IDs also allow students and classrooms to use apps such as Classroom and Schoolwork.

iPad Trade-In Program

Is it time for schools to consider trading in old iPads?

Since the introduction of electronic teaching years ago, many schools have purchased iPads as electronic learning tools. However, many older iPad models are beginning to struggle with supporting the latest educational applications. If your old iPads are facing the following issues, it might be time for schools to consider trading in old iPads for new ones:

Insufficient Storage Space

Many schools need to install e-books or e-learning applications, and 32GB of storage space is not enough to support e-learning. It is recommended that iPads have at least 64GB or more storage space.

Battery Aging Issues

iPad battery life deteriorates with usage. If old iPads run out of battery quickly or cannot support half a day of use, they are not sufficient for e-learning and may need to be replaced.

Latest iPadOS Incompatible with Device

Many AR teaching applications such as Reality Composer require iPads to be updated to the latest iPadOS 17 to access the newest features or even to be used at all. However, iPadOS 17 does not support iPad Air 2, iPad (5th generation), or earlier iPad models. If your school's iPad models do not support the latest iPadOS, consider replacing them with new iPads.

Device Incompatible with Apple Pencil

Apple Pencil brings features like note-taking, sketching, and annotation, enhancing productivity and creativity in e-learning. Since early iPad models such as iPad Air 2, iPad (5th generation), etc. are not compatible with Apple Pencil, if your school's old iPads are not compatible with Apple Pencil, consider replacing them with new iPads.
